Talk about lack of space in your life- this guy’s sex life is literally at the mercy of the state.
A court in York in the UK has approved an order whereby a man, name withheld, is supposed to give police a 24 hour notice before engaging in any form of s*xual activity.
This was after North Yorkshire Police sought and obtained a segxwal risk order against the man in question. Swxual risk orders are used when someone has not been convicted of a segxwal offence, but the police convince a court it is necessary for one to be made against the person to protect the public from him or her.
According to Yorkpress, the order entails that “if the man…plans to start a segxwal relationship of any kind with a woman or to have one-off segxwal activity with any woman, he has to contact North Yorkshire Police (or if he moves to a different county, the local force) and tell them who the woman is. He must do this at least 24 hours before any segxwal act occurs.”
In summary, whether it is a well planned act or an impromptu one night stand, he still has to inform police; which quite obviously defeats the entire purpose of the one night stand.
The order obtained is an interim one, which would last until May 19, when judges would review the order and decide whether to approve a longer one for a minimum of two years.
The order also extends to his use of the internet and phones or other devices he could use to call or text another person.
Breaking the terms of the order can lead to a prison term of up to five years.
