President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Malabo, Equatorial Guinea for a two-day

Buhari, who arrived at the Malabo International Airport this evening, was received by Equatorial Guinea’s president, H.E Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

The president was accompanied by the Minister of State Foreign Affairs, Hajia Khadija Ibrahim; governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello; Minister of Defence Monsur, Dan Ali and National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno.

Both presidents will be discussing measures to protect the people and resources of the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea.

They are also to agree on collaborative measures to combat crimes such as piracy, crude oil theft, attacks on oil rigs, arms smuggling and human trafficking in the Gulf of Guinea.
