A few days ago,
Nollywood actress
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde
was seriously criticized
by her fans for saying in a 2015 interview that
her husband, Captain
Matthew, goes to the
market to do the
shopping because of her celebrity status.

The mother of four had
revealed that she faced
challenges in times past
when she went to the
local market with her
husband, so he decided
to take on the responsibility while she
handles the cooking. A
number of her fans
went on to accuse her
of reducing her pilot
hubby to an errand boy
while some called her
statement ‘a media
hype.’

Today, it would seem
that Omotola, deciding
to win back the heart
of her fans, shared a
photo of herself
performing ‘wifely’
duties. The 38-year-old
philanthropist posted a
photo of herself pounding yam for her
husband with the
caption:

“Hehehe… When you’re
married to an #Edoman.
Lol…#poundedyam
#sometimes.”
