Yesterday, Nadia Buari was unveiled as the brand ambassador for the glamorous awards. The announcement was made during the official launch of the awards at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra where the nominations were also released.
Ghanaian and Nigerian movies dominated this year’s nominations. Top Ghanaian actors; Yvonne Okoro, Juliet Ibrahim, Eddie Nartey, Salma Mumin, Zynnell Zuh, Josleyn Dumas and others including new actress, Ophelia Klenam Dzidzornu were all on the nomination list.
The event was attended by the likes of Grace Omaboe, Socrates Sarfo, Shirley Frimpong Manso, Nikki Samonas, Asare Hackman, Mr. & Mrs. Elikem, Gloria Sarfo and a host of others who witnessed Nadia Buari speak at the Tang Palace.
“I will do whatever it takes, putting in the time and effort it requires so that our overall objective of changing African narratives through film will come to fruition. Thank you so much,” said the beautiful screen diva as she glowed in an all white outfit. Her outfit was matched with a fringe hair style complemented by a top bun.
The Ghanaian actress and fashionista is undoubtedly doing a great job at redefining style not just in the Ghanaian entertainment industry but in Africa, just because she can.
