A 43-year-old woman had to be overpowered by locals as she stabbed her German boyfriend in a jealous rage in the middle of Walking Street in the early hours of Sunday morning, June 26.
Police were alerted to the incident that witnesses say had tourists fleeing in all direction when the attack on Mr Joern Guenter Von Hedens, 59, broke out after his girlfriend of two years, Kanchayakorn Chantawoong from Petchboon, had seen him with another woman she believed was his side chick
Von Hedens was given first aid at the scene for his injuries before being taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital for further treatment. His jealous girlfriend was arrested and taken down the station for questioning where she admitted to attacking the German, telling police she lost her mind after seeing him with another woman.
