A popular Rivers state-based pastor with the Assemblies of God Church has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A shocking report has revealed that some unknown gunmen have kidnapped a pastor with the Assemblies of God Church, Pastor James Enyidah along the Isiokpo-Elele Road, in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The cleric who is popularly called Enyi Jesus, was abducted while going to Elele Town in search of one of his members who was arrested by security men for being an alleged member of one of the cult groups terrorising the community before Enyindah converted him to Christianity.
One Chibuzor Amadi, who was travelling with the victim, said the cleric was dragged out of the car when the gunmen accosted them. “We were going to Elele to ask for the whereabouts of one of our members arrested by the military during the recent raid in the community.

The Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Command, Omoni Nnamdi, said the police were aware and that investigation had already begun.
