Fire Outbreak Razes Over 50 Petrol Tankers In Delta - Photos

Over fifty petroleum tankers have so far been destroyed in a fire outbreak at the Ekpan Tankers Park near the Warri Refinery in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
The inferno which began at about 7pm on Friday was still raging at about 10am on Saturday.
Delta State fire service, men from the Nigerian Gas Company fire department, WRPC and Chevron are still battling to put off the fire.









As of the of time of filing this report, the fire was still raging creating heavy gridlock along the express as many residents are deserting their homes.
Several firemen from the Delta State fire service, the Nigerian Gas Company fire department, the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, and Chevron were reported to still be battling to put off the fire.
The incident created heavy gridlock along the expressway as many residents deserted their homes in fear.
