So soon the Nation will be fifty years of self rule in disguise, but still taking orders from external powers and allowing these intruders to be dictating for us on who is to become the Nation next president.I was much astonished to read in the Nigeria tribune  news paper of 28th of feb 2010 about the uk and the us government respectively on meeting Mr Babagida the former military head of state with the discussions of asking him to stand for the next presidential election by 2011.Is high time these countries should mind their business and let Nigerians to decide on who is to be their head of state.Intruders from outside will continue till that political awareness  in bide in us and start part taking in our daily politics. To do this, politics as a subject should be introduced right from the first year in the secondaary schools  with the introduction of human rights convention .By the year 2010, it is a political insult to us for certain Nations to be choosing and imposing on us on who is to be the leader of our country. This is a challenge to every Nigerians to speak out and condemn this internal interference from the united states and the united kingdom. These people are not friends but parasites working round the clock for the economy interest of their COUNTRIES.Babagida  as we can remember, was been classed as a dictator while he was a military head of state by  these same countries .But today ,these same people have turn round again.Let us be watchful and let us work together to build our  country.Though tribes and tongues may differ but in brotherhood let us stand and put our enemies to shame.

The answer is capital "NO" The frightening thing is that the majority of Nigerians went about celebrating independence while they are in bondage,Britain up to today plays with the future of Nigeria and dictate who rules and where the power goes but on the other hand goes around the world preaching Democracy.
