Florida Woman Crashes Car Into House While Driving And Praying With Her Eyes Closed

A Florida woman crashed her car into a Mary Esther house on Monday while praying and driving, the Northwest Florida . Following the incident, the 28-year-old Fort Walton Beach woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said the woman blew through a stop sign, went through the intersection and rammed into the front of the house. She tried to back up, but her tires spun in the sand.

The police said she confessed to praying at the time of the incident and had her eyes closed. She was cited for reckless driving with property damage and fortunately, no one in the house was injured.
