The indomitable lions of Cameroon are through to the semi-final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

After a goalless 120 minutes with the game going straight into extra-time, Senegal's Sadio Mane failed to convert the last spot-kick for his side after all other players had safely put theirs at the back of the net.

With the advantage, Aboubakar blasted the ball into the top corner to send the stands into the heavens as Cameroon win 5 - 4 on a night Liverpool's Sadio Mane will never forget.

While Senegal are out of the competition, the indomitable lions will now face the winner between DR Congo and Ghana in the semi-final.

Meanwhile, Burkina Faso are also through to last four of the competition. Late goals by Aristide Bance and Prejuce Nakoulma ensured the 2013 finalists defeat Tunisia 2 - 0 in a highly entertaining quarter-final fixture.

The other two quarter final matches are scheduled for Sunday January 29 with Group C leaders DR Congo tackling Ghana while Egypt lock horns with Morocco.
