Appeal Court Confirms Ali Modu Sheriff As PDP Chairman

The Court of Appeal sitting in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state has declared Ali Modu Sheriff as the PDP National Chairman. According to reports, the Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt dismissed Sen. Ahmed Makarfi's preliminary Objection. The court of Appeal declared that the decision taking at the may 21 Port-Harcourt convention as null and void....

It was gathered that the three judges of the court in a unanimous decision agreed that the Modu Sheriff is the chairman of the PDP.
