Adeyanju was arrested on Friday, April 21, at the Unity Fountain, he revealed via a tweet.

The arrest reportedly occurred while he was convening a protest against the proposed secret trial of Indigenous People of Biafra Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Adeyanju was arrested along with another leader of the Concerned Nigeria Group, Brian Jonah Dennis.
The police is yet to speak on the incident.

buhari it will do u a lot good if u release nnamdi kanu and stop arresting people anyhow,i don't how u are going to go the east to campaign for 2019 with all these things u are doing.if go there,they will roast u alive.but I know politicians are shameless,and u have refused to have sense

i really don't know buhari will go to the east for campaign in 2019,after doing this to mazi kanu ,then in 2019 u will wear Igbo clothes to campaign there.ok we shall see
