A foreigner was spotted jogging around Maitama area in Abuja with a torchlight due to the unavailability of light. Some online users have blamed the Federal Capital Territory FCT minister whom they said is responsible for the power supply in the region .

This is NIGERIA.  And it is a BIG DEAL. ASHAMEFUL big deal!

Many lives have been lost on operating theatres in hospital due to poor fluctuating  electricity.

Solar energy may be he ONLY way forward forNigeria.

Not a big deal, because it was his choice to jug in the night times. Moreover, those of us that live in the western world could attest that people often jug/ride bicycles with flashlights and some illuminated objects tied on their heads or arms. Yes we need electricity in Nigeria, but this jugging experience/practice has nothing to do with failure of the govt to supply electricity.

Yes,they do it not cos of no light, but for safety reasons.

For safety reasons they carry flashlights in the western world . It's an OFFENCE NOT TO.
