US-Based Nigerian Emirates Passenger, Dr Olusola Slumps, Dies At MMIA, Lagos

A Nigerian passenger on Emirates Airlines on Wednesday slumped and died on arrival at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

According to NAN, the passenger who was identified as Dr. Isaac Olusola Dada arrived in the aircraft with registration number EK783 (DX).

The spokesperson for the Lagos Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, confirmed the incident on Thursday.

Alabi said the incident was reported to the police after the passenger was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

The deceased, who was said to have flown in from the U.S. alongside his wife, reportedly collapsed at about 3.55p.m. at the screening point.

All efforts to resuscitate him proved futile and he was pronounced dead at 5.34 p.m.

It was further gathered that the deceased was the District Governor-Elect, Lions Club International, District 404 A1.
