Government's inability to pay civil servants their salaries, have made a few throw their pride away just to provide for their family.

A 46 year old staff of Benue State Environmental Sanitation Agency (BENSESA),Godwin Oga, has opened up on how he had to begin hawking groundnuts on the streets of Makurdi, just to make ends meet. He made this known to Benue.com.ng reports.

According to the father of 3, he started the business in June, due to his inability to provide food for his family, following government's in ability to pay salaries for several months. .

“I have so far spent 15 years in service with BENSESA and have also been screened in the ongoing state government screening exercise. I started this groundnut business earlier in June this year to prevent hunger and starvation of my family and to buy medications” He explained. .

Mr Oga added finally that even as he has become the town's laughing stock, he would rather continue his business than steal.

Hahahahaha  ho...ho...hopppp...lessness is worse than this condition. Hei Nigeria has become a curse to some of her good citizens eh.And this man, perhaps a master's degree holder , couldn't even succeed in selling the whole groundnuts. From his countenance;I am sure he is asking himself 'Where do I go from here?'What a condition,oh Nigeria...tearfully hopeless!
