Three Wikki Tourist Fans Arrested For Beating Football Match Officials In Bauchi (Photos)

The League Management Company has confirmed that three fans have been arrested in the assault case that happened during a football match this weekend. 

The men reportedly threw objects at match officials during the matchday-33 game between Wikki Tourist and Rangers International, which ended in a 1-1 draw in Bauchi State.

The suspects identified as: Mohammed Isa (35), Hamisu Mohammed (30) and Yola Ishaya (24), will be arraigned in court soon.  Ishaya reportedly threw an object at the 2nd assistant referee injuring him in the process while the other two attacked match officials while they were being escorted out of the stadium.
