@zie

Believe me Nigeria is better of not having nuclear power or weapons before the government put its act together proper.

Just imagine when those towers are build and a short cut will be made here and there as it often happens in Africa the consequences would be disastrous for its people look for that just to Russia what happened over there.
Then you have the fact of storing the residue one of the major drawbacks of nuclear power as the residue will contaminate for years after.
Would it be stored proper?

Or just dumped like i saw when i was in Nigeria as its done with a lot of your oil. She will be ok mate attitude.
This problem faces every nation who has this power. First they try to ship it to yes you guessed it poorer nations as who bloody cares about there soil. Right?
Now for instance here in Australia they have this concrete covered area in the middle of the dessert to store that waist and the radioactive hospital waist as the ground cant flood or cant be unstable.

@godsson How does Nigeria store its hospital and industrial radioactive waist now?

@helga...i think they just let the bulk of it litter around...we dont have good advisors or ministers on such issues when...only a few individuals and factories who need these materials for reproduction get to gather and store them for future use...its what i think..i have to really find out

Iran has just tested a long range Missile that has the capability to hit targets in Europe with high level of accuracy. This is sure a new concern for Washington.
This should be a source of concern to all lovers of freedom, democracy & the supremacy of reason over fanaticism.I still dont trust Iran with such sensitive strategic weapons.
Well, let's see what happens after January 20th,2009.

Its a worry as to many hot heads live in those countries.
They are to unstable to fanatic as fanatics are scary people indeed.
Its a worry for not only the countries they could target but to us all as it will effect each and every one in the world.
When do people learn you wonder. Cant they look back and see Japan?
As the nuclear weapons they produce now are stronger and stronger.

If only the whole world know that the acquisition of Nuclear weapons by Iran is not just a threat to the US alone but all peace loving people, then,we will all act accordingly.Fanatics cannot be trusted.

Satellite!!!!hahahahahaha!Any word on its whereabouts?I guess no one cares enough to ask them what's happening. As long as we dont invest in the education of Nigerians & keep depending on others of technology,we ll continue to embarrass ourselves.Other countries have being sending satellites to space for decades now.How many of them ve got problems like this?None that I know of.But when a country so backward in technology-Nigeria-decided that she can buy satellite from China & employ some Chinese people to run,we see the result.
Until we start devoting reasonable share of our states & national budget,we should not attempt Nuclear. This satellite fiasco should be a lesson to us.

With the Obama administration in place now,I see hope for multilateral efforts at tackling Nuclear Weapon proliferation.I see the US engaging it's enemies(real or imaged)more in positive diplomacy.I see an era were reason will rise above Military might.Let's watch on.The theater of International drama is a very busy arena.

Godsson You see a lot but remember he is only 1 in a big picture as i said before he might have so many good plans but they are nothing if they are not supported by the rest of his fellow man.

Nuclear.I think if cares is not taken,Iran will have it before the next 10 years. The successful launch of their home-made Satellite should send chills to the spine of all peace loving people of the world.Something should be done now before it's too late. You could say I am paranoid, but Iran is a threat to world peace.
