The home-based Super Eagles have qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing WAFU Cup of Nations with a crucial 2-0-win on Monday night over the Black Stars of Ghana.

The goals were scored by Anthony Okpotu and Otekpa Eneji in the 52nd and 55th minute respectively.

The result books a place for the Eagles in the semi final of the competition. Ghana qualify as Group A leaders despite their loss to the Salisu Yusuf-led side.
