Embattled IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, whose whereabouts has been unknown since the violent crisis in Abia started two weeks ago, has challenged the ruling which declared his group as a terrorist organization. In a statement released on Friday by Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), challenged the court order proscribing his group and declaring it a terrorist group.
According to the motion, dated September 21, Ejiofor argued that IPOB is a non-violent organisation; therefore the decision of the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court to issue an order, based on a motion made ex-parte, was illegal. An ex-parte is a motion heard by the court without the presence of the other party/parties.
It was reported that the lawyer added that his client, whose whereabouts has been unknown since the violent crisis in Abia started two weeks ago, was not allowed fair hearing and that the court lacked the jurisdiction to grant such an order. How on earth is Nigeria going to explain to the International Community that IPOB is a terrorist group? It's unconscionable to continues telling lies to the world, IPOB has successfully launched groups all over the world. In London, they visit government offices, in the USA they approach the govt house to lay complaints and many other parts of the world. Can somebody ask our crazy govt and all the fools in this forum that are making negative remarks, "Do terrorist organizations hold public rallies, demonstrate in front of police, approach govt houses all over the world?"

the Nigerian govt is a big joker for naming ipob a terrorist group. this declaration will hunt some people in the international court latter on. Buhari must resign because he lacks admin ideas.
