It is images like the ones below that have consistently stood Dr. Chris Okafor out from the crowd. From the inception of his now global ministry, Dr. Okafor has consistently maintained that his ministry revolves around charity and will amount to nothing without charity.
On several occasions, he made it clear that his obsession with helping humanity through charitable activities is non negotiable and that God would destroy his ministry if he didn’t do it;

“Liberation City as a ministry is nothing without Charity. This is one ministry that doesn’t just do charity because it’s expedient. No, we do charity because it’s compulsory. You can’t separate our ministry from charitable activities. God told me when we were starting that if I ever fail to do charity and help humanity, that our ministry will collapse in no time. That scares me, so I have no choice than to help humanity.”
At the dawning of the new year- 2017, the Generational Prophet as he’s fondly called declared that the year, 2017 will witness a whole new dimension in the ministry’s charitable outreaches. Shortly after this declaration, the man of God hosted ailing Nollywood actors to whom he donated millions of Nigerian Naira to aid their medical treatment, haven been used of God to miraculously heal some of them through the prayers of faith. Shortly after, he pulled together a group of aspiring entrepreneurs in his church and empowered them financially to launch into the market place.
He also took in more orphans and less privileged fellows for scholarships at different academic levels. He increased the number of widows who benefitted from his monthly widows outreach where widows are provided with start up money for diverse start up ventures and food stuffs. And not long after, the ministry launched a new program known as the Liberation Feeding Program where all and sundry are welcomed to eat free food at the church premises every Sunday. Most people who benefit from the weekly feeding program often testify the free Sunday meal is their only meal for the day.
It was on this premise that the EWN, a reputable international organization and a host of other American NGOs and city officials have come together to honor the man of God for what they termed

“His out-of-the-ordinary compassion for the poor”. When asked in what manner they intend to honor him, one of the group heads retorted “we don’t wanna make that open right now. We’re just gonna do what we’re gonna do. But I guarantee you, the news will reach everywhere. We’re truly proud of this man and I hope that other preachers can borrow a leaf from him”
Dr. Okafor is scheduled for an evangelistic tour of the United States of America for the most part of October 2017 with his power packed Miracle crusades tagged: Season of Settlement. Reacting, Dr. Okafor retorted “God sees and rewards everything we do in secret whether good or bad. I’m honored. God bless them”
