Everton host Arsenal on Sunday afternoon desperate to kickstart their sluggish start to the season.

Ronald Koeman has received a vote of confidence from the Goodison bigwigs but is under increasing pressure after just two wins in eight Premier League games.

After two comfortable wins over West Brom and Brighton, Arsenal were stunned last week by Watford and crashed to their third defeat of the season.

Arsene Wenger's side will be desperate to get back to winning at a happy hunting ground.

What time is kick-off?

This one is being played on Sunday October 22 at Goodison Park.

Kick-off is at 1.30pm.

Team News
EVERTON have a distracting tie with Lyon on Thursday night and will be desperate to avoid further injuries.

Ross Barkley, Seamus Coleman, Yannick Bolasie and James McCarthy all remain sidelined.

Arsenal are missing Santi Cazorla and Danny Welbeck as they look for their third win at Goodison in the last four visits.

The Gunners were also in Europa League action in Belgrade on Thursday.

Stat attack

Everton have won two of their last four Premier League home games against Arsenal (D1 L1), having failed to win any of the previous six against them at Goodison Park.
Arsenal have won 11 Premier League away games against Everton – only at West Ham and Aston Villa (12 each) have they won more.
There has been a red card in three of the last four Premier League meetings between these sides (Laurent Koscielny in May 2017, Phil Jagielka in December 2016 and Gareth Barry in October 2015).
Arsenal have beaten Everton more times than any other club has beaten another in English Football League history (94 wins).
Arsene Wenger has beaten Everton 30 times in all competitions as Arsenal manager – more than he has against any other side during his time at the Gunners.
Only Crystal Palace (29) have conceded more Premier League goals away from home than Arsenal (26 – level with Bournemouth) in 2017.
Since the start of last season, Arsenal have both given away and conceded 11 goals from the penalty spot, more than any other current Premier League side.
Everton have won just eight points this season; their worst start to a Premier League season through the first eight games since 2008-09 under David Moyes (also eight points).
Everton have scored just five Premier League goals this season – two fewer than their former striker Romelu Lukaku has netted alone for Manchester United this term (7). Everton’s five goals have come from 92 shots (5.4%), compared to Lukaku scoring seven times from 32 shots (21.9%).
Wayne Rooney’s first Premier League goal was against Arsenal in October 2002 – he has scored more Premier League goals against the Gunners than any other player (11).
Rooney’s three Premier League goals this season have been worth four points for Everton – last season he scored five league goals for Manchester United and they were worth only two points for the Red Devils.
