PSG look to cement their place for the knockout phase of the Champions League with a win against Anderlecht on matchday 4.

Having won three on the bounce, PSG sit at the top of the group with a 3-point cushion over Bayern Munich. They won finish as group winners unless something extraordinary happen in the remaining rounds.

A win against Anderlecht will send PSG into the knockout round, if Bayern avoid a defeat against Celtic.

Anderlecht are on 0 points after losing all three group games. Their Champions League campaign will come to an end if they fail to beat PSG on Tuesday.

The Belgians haven’t scored a goal in their three group games so far. Also the 10 goals conceded in the process is one of the worst defensive record in the campaign.

Meanwhile, PSG are firing from all cylinders and scored 12 goals without conceding. Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe have all put their name on the score-sheet in the process.

PSG vs Anderlecht: Head-to-head

There has been 5 meetings between the two sides i n UEFA competitions and PSG are unbeaten with 3 wins and 2 draws. However, the two games played at their home are draws.

PSG vs Anderlecht: Predictions

PSG are unbeaten since the start of the season and mast of their key players are in excellent touch. We are expecting Unai Emery to rotate the squad with this being their fourth game in the space of 12 days.

But, Neymar was absent in weekend’s game due to suspension and will be fresh and fit to take the field at Parc des Princes on Tuesday. With Thiago Motta being the only causality for Emery, it will a strong squad on the sheet against Anderlecht.

The Belgians haven’t found their rhythm or consistency this season. Their priority will be to avoid a humiliating defeat here.
