Pope Francis Gets Personalized $237k Lamborghini As Gift, Plans To Auction It For Charity

Lamborghini gave Pope Francis a personalised white supercar, but he plans to auction it to raise money for charity.
Francis received the Italian supercar on Wednesday morning in a ceremony in Vatican City. He blessed it, signed its hood, and promptly handed it over to Sotheby’s, which will auction off the Huracan on his behalf.
The special-edition sports car, which boasts a 610 metric horsepower, is expected to sell for significantly more than its Italian retail price of around €200,000. The money will go towards helping displaced Christians in Iraq, victims of trafficking and prostitution, and Italian charities working with women and children in countries in Africa.
Last year the Pope ordered cars he used during a visit to Poland to be auctioned off to help Syrian refugees. And in 2014, he sold a Harley Davidson motorbike that he had been given – and a matching leather jacket – for the benefit of a homeless shelter in Rome.

A GREAT EXAMPLE for Christian leaders to follow. He has had numerous opportunities to amass wealth but has chosen rather to use all wealth bequeathed to him for the poor. This was the same way our Lord Jesus Christ lived. Although He owned the world and everything in it, He chose to live for others. I pray that our present leaders will follow these examples rather than flaunt their wealth before the same very poor people who support their ministries.

That is very wrong and unfair representation of Pastor Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo that I know. I am sure you do not know anything about these people and their giving life. The only difference between them is no matter what they give, they do not announce regardless of haters publications.
These are Pastor who have dashed out cars, houses and have trained other peoples children without making a sound.
It is myopic to think that they only receive without giving. In fact giving is one of their secrets that is why scriptures are being fulfilled in their lives.
Please stop deceiving yourselves. No genuine pastor receives continually without giving. If it is a lie, go and try being a pastor.
The stupid thing about people is that they lack ideas, they cannot celebrate their heroes without insulting others and they do that blindly.
