Tottenham head to Leicester knowing nothing less than a stunning Premier League run will see their title hopes effectively end before Christmas.
Spurs followed up the north London derby defeat to Arsenal with an impressive Champions League comeback win against Borussia Dortmund, but Mauricio Pochettino's side faced familiar Wembley frustrations on Saturday as West Brom left the capital with a 1-1 draw.
Harry Kane netted his 40th club goal of 2017 against the Baggies to keep himself firmly in the running for the Golden Boot, and Pochettino will need his star striker on form against 2015-16 champions Leicester if Spurs are to stand any chance of catching Manchester City in the title race.
Danny Rose was dropped altogether for Saturday's draw against West Brom, and Pochettino has a big call on whether to restore the left-back to his squad after the England international went public over recent frustrations.
Toby Alderweireld (hamstring) and Victor Wanyama (knee) are out, while Erik Lamela could return to contention following the birth of his child.
Provisional squad: Lloris, Vorm, Gazzaniga, Rose, Davies, Walker-Peters, Vertonghen, Sanchez, Dier, Foyth, Trippier, Aurier, Winks, Sissoko, Dembele, Alli, Lamela, Eriksen, Son, Llorente, Kane.
Robert Huth and Matty James are the only two absentees for Leicester, who drew 1-1 against West Ham at the weekend.
Predicted line-ups
Leicester starting XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Albrighton, Ndidi, Iborra, Gray, Mahrez, Vardy
Tottenham starting XI: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Vertonghen; Trippier, Winks, Dembele, Davies; Eriksen, Alli; Kane
