FC Porto VS Monaco
Wednesday (06/12/2017)
20:45 (WAT)
The Blue and whites have not let in goals in three of their last five home games and will hope to do it against their Monegasque opponents

FC Porto welcome Monaco to Estadio do Dragao for their Group G Uefa Champions League outing on Wednesday night.

Knowing that a win will brighten their chances of making it to the next round of the competition, Sergio Conceicao’s men will be expected to fire on all cylinders. They share an equal seven points with RB Leipzig though the Germans lead on head to head.

Notwithstanding their winless run lately, they have an edge over their opponents, winning all their past meetings. Porto will therefore be coming into this game as clear favourites.

For Les Monegasques, they have nothing at stake going into this encounter having garnered just two points in five games which obviously has knocked them out of contention for the next round of the competition and also the Europa League qualification.

Though they ended a four-match winless run on Saturday against Angers, they have not won any of their last three games played outside Stade Louis II.

Conceicao’s side have avoided defeat in their last nine matches and (1.07) is on offer for a repeat of this in the tie.

Porto have scored three goals in each of their previous outings with their visitors without conceding
