They say it is a man’s world. No wonder women have to work twice as hard to prove their worth in the society and most importantly, in marriage.

There has been a high increase in the rate of divorce and recent times, it has affected celebrity marriages where the society plays a big role. People try to advise the woman on the necessity of steadfastness in marriage but the reverse is the case to the male counterparts.

The society has done more harm than good as there are justifications for a married man having extramarital affairs. They go ahead to asking questions as to what the woman hasn’t been doing well and thereby giving the alibi for the men.

Media personality, Toke Makinwa didn’t find this funny as she took to her Instagram page to react to a post on twitter where a fellow colleague, Gbemi Olateru dropped her advice in a sarcastic manner.

She shared her views on her Instagram page where she talked about how people told her to fight for her marriage. See her post below

Hmmmmmm!!! This is a deep issue o, maybe he was focused on his career and was always going out, maybe the man outside is the innocent looking one, does not have swag, easy going and natural. Maybe he needs to hit the gym fast, cook for her, take care of the kids etc… whatever he decides, he should just accept the child, the other man will always be an outsider, it was a mistake; after all it is him she married, he is the legal husband. He should fight for his marriage, forgive her, dem no Dey throway wife o, where will he start from? Wife scarce for market! #Thingstoldtome #My2cents #Marriageisdoordie
