British-Nigerian singer Olusegun Adeola Samuel also known as Seal is being investigated for charges of segxwal battery. Seal’s former neighbour in his LA home, actress Tracey Birdsall filed a report against seal at the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department for segxwal battery.
She claims the assault occurred a year ago but she did not report it. She added that she only decided to report it after she saw Seal’s comment on Oprah and Harvey Weinstein where he encouraged women to share their own stories of segxwal misconduct.
According to TMZ, Tracey says that the singer came on to her in the fall of 2016 when she went over to retrieve a salad spinner since they had been close friends until the incident. She says that he lunged at her and when she asked what he was doing he replied: “I’m kissing you!” She then added that he belittled her outfit of a tank top and shorts, saying that she was asking for it.
The singer is however vehemently denying the claim. His representative told Rolling Stone “Seal vehemently denies the recent accusations made against him by a former neighbour for alleged misconduct of more than a year ago. He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations.”
