Burnley VS Manchester United
Saturday (20/01/2018)
16:00 (WAT)
Manchester United travel to Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday as Jose Mourinho still waits on Alexis Sanchez's arrival from Arsenal.

The forward is expected to complete a January switch to Old Trafford after Manchester City pulled out of a deal, though the Chile forward will not be registered in time for the trip to Turf Moor.

Sean Dyche's Clarets have impressed this season and earned a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in December, but have not won since reaching fourth place some seven games and over a month ago.

Team news
Jose Mourinho will not consider Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who will be left out of United's squad for the second straight game while negotiations continue with Arsenal over a swap deal that would see Alexis Sanchez move in the opposite direction.

Ashley Young is back from suspension, though Luke Shaw looks set to retain his place at left-back, with Daley Blind picking up a problem that could rule him out along with Eric Bailly (ankle) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (knee).

Provisional squad: Romero, De Gea, Pereira, Tuanzebe, Darmian, Jones, Smalling, Valencia, Lindelof, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Young, McTominay, Pogba, Herrera, Matic, Carrick, Fellaini, Lingard, Martial, Rashford, Lukaku, Mata.

Scott Arfield could return to the Burnley line-up for Saturday's clash after shrugging off a hamstring strain sustained in the New Year's Day defeat to Liverpool.

Arfield's return would be a major boost to Burnley boss Sean Dyche, who will be without striker Jon Walters for up to eight weeks after the 34-year-old underwent knee surgery.

Defender Stephen Ward (knee) and striker Chris Wood (leg) are both making good progress but will not be in contention this weekend, while Tom Heaton (shoulder) and Robbie Brady (knee) remain long-term absentees.

Provisional squad: Pope, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Gudmundsson, Cork, Defour, Hendrick Barnes, Wells, Vokes, Nkoudou, Lindegaard, Lowton, Westwood, Long, Marney.
Predicted line-ups

Burnley starting XI: Pope; Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor; Cork, Defour; Gudmundsson, Hendrick, Barnes; Vokes

Manchester United starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Shaw; Pogba, Matic; Mata, Lingard, Martial; Lukaku
