Operatives of the Ondo state police have arrested a fake prophet identified as Ojo Bobade but popularly known as Ade Ojengbede who has been allegedly defrauding unsuspecting victims.
According to Omo Edema, it was gathered that the fake prophet dressed as a reverend father or prophet to his victims and later manipulate his prophecies to land them at his herbalist shrine in the far bush at Irun-Akoko, in Ondo. He is alleged to operate in the federal capital, Abuja where he gets rich clients.
One of his victims, Olanrewaju reportedly said the suspect duped him of about three million Naira and other valuable item.
