Manchester United face off with Sevilla on Wednesday in a tantalizing Champions League round-of-sixteen tie.
The Red Devils go into the Champions League last 16 first leg at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan in good spirits following their 2-0 win at Huddersfield on Saturday.
But Jose Mourinho knows that the Spanish club, who have won three Europa League titles since 2014, will prove a much more difficult challenge.
Paul Pogba missed the FA Cup victory with illness, but is expected to be back in action in the Champions League.
Mourinho has ruled out Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the game.
Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia also missed the game at Huddersfield with minor injuries, but should be available in Spain.
Daley Blind is another player who has been out with a knock and is unlikely to feature.
So who will start the game?
We think Mourinho will go 4-3-3 and pack the midfield, a favoured tactic of his for crucial away games.
But this isn’t the same Sevilla that pulled off a Europa League three-peat from 2014 to 2016. Those historic victories came under the steady leadership of manager Unai Emery and director of football Monchi. Both men have since departed for new challenges, with Emery now in the Paris Saint-Germain hot-seat and Monchi calling the shots at AS Roma.
After all, Mourinho — striving to become the first manager to lift the European Cup with three different clubs — has been here before. His two Champions League triumphs came with underdog Porto and Inter Milan, shutting down more fancied opponents all the way to the title. If the Reds can get back to playing stout defense and scoring opportunistic goals, history could repeat itself.
