A Nigerian lady has shared her experience with the Nigerian Police, and it’s one far different from what the uniformed men have been stereotyped with. She narrated how the officers came to her aid when her vehicle’s battery ran down cos she forgot to put off the car’s headlights.

Read her words below.
Quote
This happened to me today in Nigeria precisely along Calabar-Itu highway. I was driving from Calabar to Uyo today, came across this Itu women tempting dry fish and decided to stop for a little shopping but my long throat for the fish didn’t allow me put off my headlights and radio so the car battery ran down.
Purpose of this story, this police officers came to my rescue by taking of the battery from thier Armour vehicle to charge mine plus they refused to accept a dime from me.

#Am so proud of the Nigerian police force right now#
#God bless the Military Men on the road#
#God bless Naija#

The incident above is quite different from what a man experienced in the hands of a policeman in Benin that resulted in him getting smashed to death by a trailer.
According to eyewitness reports, the incident happened at M.M. Way, Benin. It was gathered that the police officer pushed the driver into the path of an oncoming trailer which smashed his head.

According to the deceased fiancee, troubled started over the refusal of her fiance to give the said policeman, N100, after their bus was stopped. She said all their plea was refused by the policeman.

As the argument went on, she said the deceased was pushed and landed in the path of an oncoming trailer. Some police vans have already been set ablaze by aggrieved residents of the area.
