Wife Of Soldier Killed While Trying To Rescue Kidnapped Victim In Kogi Gets N5m From State Governor

Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello met and commiserated with the family of the late Corporal Lazarus Mamman of Command Army Records, Lokoja, who was killed at Okene during rescue operation of a kidnapped victim  on 27 February 2018
The governor described the slain soldier as a hero, who gave his life for his fellow man and the safety of his country. He made a presentation of Five Million Naira to the family.
His widow and parents were present as well as Commander Army Records, Major General Felix Agugo.
According to reports, Corporal Lazarus Mamman just got married few months ago.
