This lovely Black American child was born with multiple birthmarks which has put him at the risk of a major disease in the nearest future.

Christopher Mays Jr. was born last year with a rare skin condition called Nevus.

The spots on his skin hasn't prevented the parents from loving him as the mother has opened an Instagram account for him where he has recorded over 4,000 followers.

The spots have made him unique among babies with other mothers praying passionately for his good health.

This latest photos here were shared on Christopher's Instagram page with a touching note below:

Quote
"I was born 12.27.17 with a rare skin condition (nevus) Nevus is a nonspecific medical term for a visible, circumscribed, chronic lesion of the skin or mucosa. The term originates from nævus, which is Latin for "birthmark," however, a nevus can be either congenital (present at birth) or acquired.

Common terms, including mole, birthmark, and beauty mark, are used to describe nevi, but these terms do not distinguish specific types of nevi from one another.

These nevi are often categorized based on size, however, the lesions usually grow in proportion to the body over time, so the category may change over an individual's life.

This categorization is important because large congenital melanocytic nevi are associated with an increased risk of melanoma, a serious type of skin cancer."
