Arguably the biggest music awards show this part of the world, The Headies 2018 saw our finest stars put their best beauty foot forward.
From Seyi Shay who switched up her beauty look with each change of outfit, to Tiwa Savage whose pixie cut made its official red carpet debut, everyone brought their A-game. However, there were a few people whose beauty looks hit all the right notes, and below, we take a look at eight of them.
Annie Idibia
The chocolate beauty made sure all attention was on her ultra sexy bandage dress and gorgeous face by sweeping up her hair into a high bun. Her makeup consisted of a mildly smoked out eye makeup and glossy Nood lips.
Alex
The Big Brother Naija housemate was a personal fave on the night – and this picture doesn’t even do the beauty look justice. Makeup artist Bibyonce went for a sultry look and absolutely nailed it. Alex’s best features were well spoken for – her plump lips made even all the more kissable with the help of a glossy Nood lipstick. The fringe hairstyle which took up about a half of her face also added a touch of edgy and sexy mystery to her entire look.
Bolanle Olukanni
Big hair don’t care! Bolanle’s cascading curls was the perfect match for her flirty and girly little dress, so were the smokey eyes and Nood lips.
Tiwa Savage
Tiwa’s pixie cut just might be the best style decision the singer has made in recent times. And she rocked it to perfection for Headies 2018. She enlisted the help of celebrity makeup artist, Jide of St Ola for her makeup, and as always, Jide nailed it. Dramatic eyelashes, glossy lips and highlighter in all the right places.
Beverly Osu
Beverly Osu’s long tresses were slicked back to make way for her best feature – her face. Gold eyeshadow and black eyeliner were used on her eyes while her lips were painted a beautiful Nood colour.
Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi
Gbemi chose to deviate from the Nood and glossy lip trend which seemed to be the norm of the night, going for a red lipstick instead. She kept it mild with her eye makeup and styled her hair in a high ponytail. Love it!
Seyi Shay
Seyi Shay was the host of the night – alongside comedian Bovi, and as expected, she went all out with both her style and beauty looks. She went through the night and the numerous outfit and wig changes with a face that was simply flawless. Like her counterpart, Tiwa, she also employed the services of pro makeup artist, Jide of St Ola.
Bisola Aiyeola
Bisola kept it Nood and clean with her makeup – a win. She wore her sleek long hair down her back and looked just gorgeous.
