Former World Cup champions Spain will be looking to register their first victory this tournament against Iran when the two sides meet in the third fixture of Group B, on Wednesday June 20 at the Kazan Arena.
Spain were left frustrated after they conceded a free-kick against Portugal in their campaign opener, scored by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo late into regular time in a 3-3 draw.
Iran registered a late win over Morocco in their opening game after Aziz Bouhaddouz scored an unfortunate injury time goal, and the Iranians are currently top of the Group B table with a slender lead.
