Another Fuel Tanker Explodes After Colliding With Trailer Along Highway In Niger (Photos)

Another tanker explosion has taken place in faraway Niger state after a trailer collided with a truck on the highway. Just as Nigerians are still trying to get over the Lagos tanker explosion that claimed many lives yesterday, another tanker explosion has just taken place at Maje along Minna-Suleja road in Niger state.
 
The incident happened after a tanker collided with a trailer. The number of casualties are yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report. Emergency officials are currently on ground to put out the flames.
 
Motorists and commuters have been advised to delay their movements or use alternative routes due to the accident.

What is happening, can someone tell me? All this tanker drivers need to be under going through some training and orientation.

many of these drivers are incompetent  and don't maintain their tankers

the got should find a lasting alternative in transporting flammable products.. its now officially dangerous for filled tanker to be on the same road as other road users... abeg what happened to our railway and pipelines
