Cristiano Ronaldo has been unveiled at Juventus after he concluded his medicals with team doctors at the club’s medical facility.

‘I feel great, for me, it is another challenge. I know it will be tough. I will be ready, Juve is ready. I will be there’ He said. The 33-year-old assured that his current age will not be a factor that will determine his performance at Juve. “The age is not important as I have said before. I feel motivated, I am looking forward to starting well”, he added.

On Juventus giving him a “wonderful opportunity”
,  Ronaldo says he is “so proud they were interested in me” and hope he can take them “to a higher level”.

Ronaldo also said he hopes to win the Champions League with Juventus, but that it is a trophy every club would like to win. Ronaldo has 4 Champions League medals to his name and admits that one of the factors in joining the club is the standing ovation he got when he scored that overhead kick against them in the semifinals last season.

Ronaldo also said he believes he can win one more Ballon d’Or and not “two or three more” and is still very much a player for Portugal and hopes to continue helping his country.

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has played down his team’s chances of winning the Champions League this season.
The Red Devils make their return to the competition on Tuesday night, when they host Swiss champions Basel at Old Trafford.
On Monday, Mourinho insists there are “four or five” teams with a real possibility of lifting the trophy in Kiev in May – among the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

But for the United manager, he is focused on getting out of Group A, ahead of Basel, Benfica and CSKA Moscow.
“I think in the Champions League there are four or five teams with an incredible level of quality and experience and know how and that’s what makes the difference.
“Apart from that there many teams in Champions League who are very similar to teams in the Europa League.
“Feyenoord and Anderlecht were in the Europa League last season and are champions in their countries and now playing in the Champions League.
“We have to try to qualify and go to the last 16 and enjoy that special knockout phase with the best teams in Europe,” he told a news conference.
