Mayorkun in an interview with Naijapals explained his relationship with his mom when he is most likely to release an album, his most embarrassing moment and most importantly his kind of women— mentioning 30-year old Simi, 28-year old Eva aa his type of women.

Naijapals: Who is Mayorkun?
Mayorkun is an entertainer, a graduate, a prospective accountant, a dreamer lol. I can be a lot of things in different types of situations.
Naijapals: On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the Nigerian music industry
Naijapals: What is your most embarrassing moment as an artiste?
When I planned a show for like nothing less than 6 months and few days to the show, My DJ lost his laptop and we had to get a new one but he wasn’t used to the laptop, this caused me to have several glitches on set while performing. I was looking more or less unprepared for that kind of big event which was really embarrassing.
Naijapals: Tell us something about Mayorkun many people do not know?
Errr, I’m close to my mum. I have a lot of older friends.
Naijapals: When are you planning to set up your own record label?
No set time in mind, only when the time is right. For now, I am just building my brand.
Naijapals: If you could date any Nigerian female act, who would it be and why?
Errr….Simi or Eva Alordiah. No major reason, they are my type, lol.
Naijapals: What’s your relationship with Davido like?
We family!
Naijapals:: Are you in a relationship at the moment?
No, I’m not currently dating. I used to but am single at the moment.
Naijapals:: Who was she?
She’s just a normal girl naa lol. The relationship ended a year ago.
Naijapals:: You have been in the industry for a while now, when should we be expecting your debut album?
