The hunt for a commendable representative at this year’s Miss Universe international pageant ended with a noteworthy ovation as Akpene Diata Hoggar emerged as Miss Universe Ghana 2018.
The search for Miss Universe Ghana 2018, also known as ‘Ghana’s Next Sweetheart’, began a few weeks ago with over 200 ladies.
Ten contestants successfully passed numerous tests and emerged in the grand finale to fight for the exclusive ticket to represent Ghana at this year’s Miss Universe international pageant in December.
Each of the 10 finalists represented one of the 10 regions of Ghana and tried to reflect the qualities of a true Ghanaian lady.
The latest Queen, Akpene Diata Hoggar is a model, blogger, and entrepreneur who hails from the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. She has an automatic and exclusive ticket to represent Ghana at this year’s international pageant which will hold in Bangkok, Thailand in December.
She went home with a brand new car, one-year contract with the Lab Modeling Agency in Milan, Italy; one-year contract as the Face of ‘So aesthetic’, one-year supply of GTP (Woodin) Fabrics, makeup products for one year, GH¢10,000 worth of Shoes from Shoe Zone and one- year hair services and spa treatments by First Choice Beauty Salon.
