Why courtship is important??? What is courtship???

This is done to keep the parties who are attracted to each other from entering into premarital sex, which then stops the process of courtship. In the word courtship is the word court. By definition we mean a place where justice is administered and a place where the process of finding the truth which forms the basis of justice and judgment.

 When two people are courting they are bringing evidence to either support their intention to be engaged, or evidence that they should look in other directions. This process of finding out as much as we can about each other is necessary in forming good and proper judgment.

It is so important then when engaging another as related to courtship/dating that we do a bit of introspection of self and the other person. We must at some point obtain life partners versus right now partners. Lasting relationships/marriages are of the essence, the fly by night is so not hot.

Yes I did, however my answers may not be true for all and others may not necessarily know the answers to the questions. I am curious as to how you define courtship? Do you think its important in today's times?

You know you're absolutely right. For some reason people rush marriage, the second date I love you I want to marry you, however the fact is they have no clue of what they would be getting themselves into. When you mention different backgrounds and blending, oh my goodness, this is something that we must all consider. It is not just the person you see you're getting, the values and morale's are quite different and rather complex at times.

Meanin of courtship from my end

1.  prelude to marriage: the period of a romantic relationship before marriage
2.  trying to gain somebody's love: the act of paying attention to somebody with a view to developing a more intimate relationship
3.  ingratiating behavior: friendly and often ingratiating attention for the purpose of winning a favor or establishing an alliance or other relationship
4.  zoology mating behavior: behavior designed to attract another animal or bird as a mate, or the time during which an animal or bird engages in this
