Nigeria defeated Madagascar 2-0 in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match on Sunday at the Calabar Stadium.

The widely criticised Super Eagles started Sunday’s Group B encounter against the Barea with great determination. Nigeria’s midfielders were lively in the early going as they looked to provide service to the strikers up front. But the visitors did enough to survive the opening onslaught. I was, and am still, not impressed with the result. They played the same way I've seen them played in recent time, just a rather insignificant change, maybe it's because they won. Huh?

Its a well deserve victory but i'm still not convince this men can survive when they  face the likes of Ghana,Ivory coast and Egypt....I pray things will be done the right way soon in this country.......God Bless Nigeria
