how has your religion change you and can you tell us more about the religion you believe in?

what does your religion teach?

can you or will you change your religion if your circumstances change (e.g marriage, problems e.t.c)?

are you proud of your religion?

your best quote in your holy book? Smiley

any other thing welcome? Smiley

I am a Christian and very proud one...
Christianity teaches the love of God and love to ones neighbor and how to live a success...
Challenges did come...and I held on....believe me God elevated me...
I chose two which I recite every morning...

Nothing shall separate me from the Love of God...Romans 8:35 - 39

The Lord is my shepherd...Psalm 23...

Am a muslim and am Proud of being in Islam, Islam is the only Religion that teaches the existence of a perfect God that He alone should
be worshipped for He has no mother, father. daughter or son. We are all His creation and with Islam i find Inner peace within myself becuase
we as muslims are commanded not to discriminate against any prophet of God; Jesus, moses,Abraham, moses and Muhammad. peace be upon them all.

I like this verse  becuase it clearly shows that Islam is not a religion of violence as most people claim:

“…if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people:
and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.”
Al- Quran 5:32

I am a proud muslim because it teaches inner peace, perceverance, tolerance and total reliance in GOD.Its the destiny of GOD on mankind that is why you will see traces of all GOD sent from Adam,Abraham,Moses,Joshua,Isaac,Ismael,..down to Jesus and Mohammed(P.B.O.T)..

My precious verse is "Inna akramakum hinda "Lahi huwa atikarkum"..meaning.."GOD SAID:The most pious among thee is he who has piety(fear of Allah)..

The purpose of Islam(from Salam:Peace) is to serve the only true living GOD..ALLAH and to love for others what we really love for our soul(same as love thy neibour as thyself)...that is the way to attain total peace..

I am a Muslim & I am very proud of my religion. What I love & learn about Islam are numerous, among them are;
Islam teaches me:
1. To believe in Allah alone, & never associate a partner to him.
2. To respect all the messengers of Allah (Adam, Noah,
    Abraham,Moses,Jesus & Muhammad)peace be upon them all.
3. To respect the religion & practice of others.
4. To dialogue when ever there is dispute.
5. Never to mock or abuse diety of others.
6. To treat others with generosity & compassion.(irrespective of
    their religion)
7. To acquire what is lawful & forbid the unlawful.
8. To forsake the world & think of the hereafter.
9. That whoever cheat on others will never see the kingdom of
    the almighty ALLAH.
This is just to mention but few.
