If only a free and fair election is to be hold in Nigeria, the incumbeng president does not have a chance of winning. Being one of the most un-popular presidents to have ever ruled this country coupled with his lack of experience to handle the Mighty Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan does not have a chance to win during the forthcoming elections. Come down to the north where out of the nineteen states, only three, Yobe, Borno and Kano states are being governed by opposition parties and see how he lost popularity. I am telling you this (being a northerner) that the common citizens (talakawa) of this part of the country does not consider him to be worthy of being the president. This originated from his previous attempt to blackpaint northern politicians for him to have chance to win primary and the final election (s).
Even in the Niger Delta region, Mr President has big problems with his people over there. For sure, his popularity in the southeastern part of this country is low. As at now, two of the five states are being ruled by APGA and that the incumbeng governor of Imo state decamped from another opposition party to PDP which indicates that the party may not have that much popularity there.
