ajanni at 27-01-2011 10:16 PM (13 years ago) (m) Residents of Kanshio village, a suburb of Makurdi, were gripped by confusion when they learnt of the death of a 25-year-old graduate of Sociology from the Benue State University, Michael Adzor Adzor, who died after eating carrots.
Adzor, who lived in the village, on Wednesday, bought carrots suspected to have been poisoned from a street hawker of the fruits at Wurukum, a business centre in the village.
The deceased and one Gregory, who was with the deceased at the time he slumped and died, were both taken to the hospital at Kanshio where the doctor certified Adzor dead.
Dr Vandeyoon of Hemko Hospital, who was said to have confirmed the deceased dead, at the time of filing this report, said the hospital had not carried out any medical test on the late Sociology graduate to determine the cause of his death.
The Police Divisional Officer Zone ‘B’, Superintendent Madani Bitrus, who confirmed the incident to
the Nigerian Tribune, said the father of the deceased reported the case at the police station.
It will be recalled that text messages were widely circulated in Makurdi and its environs recently warning people to stop buying fruits from hawkers on the grounds that the fruits were alleged to have been poisoned.
But what is always wrong with this hungary posters ? the topic is totally difference from the story , they will never do their home work very well and cross check before posting , here a lady suddenly turned to a man again -- nonsense Posted: at 27-01-2011 10:16 PM (13 years ago) | Grande Master | |
