Telecommunications job interviews can be multi-stage. These interviews are essentially a combination of a behavioral interview and a technical testing process. It’s strongly advised to do thorough preparation for these interviews. The telecommunications job interviews are competitive, and you need a good solid average of correct answers at all stages of the process to get the job.

Telecommunications Job Interview Technical Test Preparation

The technical questions are concentrated in the testing stages, although there may be one or two in the verbal interview. These tests may require some very basic research of the employer’s business and, most importantly, their business systems.

Typical questions can be very simple and concerned entirely with necessary knowledge, but the tests carry a lot of weight in the final decision to employ candidates. This is like grading for a final mark in school, and the tests are about 50 percent of the result.

The questions may involve:

    * Pulse code modulation

    * Satellite voice communications

    * Byte sizes

    * VOICE

    * Microprocessor functions

    * Interrupt requests

    * Data packets
