Why cant christians forgive muslems?

Any time i hear a nice from north part of naija,is about muslems killing christians,christians killing muslems ,the outcome of this is christians cant forgive and forget ,and any time christians see this on naija pals they go straight to insult muslems and that realy hurts me soo much despite i am a christian ,we christians dont have the right to insult muslem even if is their fault ,good christians dont do that we need to stop it !
