Sergeant Maxwell Udo, a policeman in Port Harcourt, has lost his three children and wife in an inferno from a kerosene explosion that engulfed his Bernard Carr street residence in Port Harcourt on Saturday night.

It will be recalled that the police in the state had on Sunday confirmed the death of two of the children in the inferno while the Sergeant, his wife and one of the children reportedly made it to the hospital.

But the state Police Public Relations Officer, Dr Rita Innoma Abbey told the Vanguard, yesterday, that the wife of Sergeant Udo and his third child, who were admitted later died at the hospital.

She called for prayers for Sergeant Udo, whom she said was still in the hospital.
