Who is the Spirit?
 
And when Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the heavens split open and the Spirit descending like a dove on him. And a voice came from heaven saying, "You are my beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with you." Mark 1:10-11
 
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19 (NKJV) 
 
But the Helper, the Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.  John 14:26 (NKJV)
 
"But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.  John 15:26 (NKJV)
 
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Spirit be with you all. Amen.  2 Cor. 13:14 (NKJV) 
 
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.  1 Peter 1:2 (NKJV) 
 
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Spirit; and these three are one.  1 John 5:7 (NKJV)
 
While the word “Trinity” (meaning three) is not used in the Bible, it is clear from the above Scriptures that from the One God there are three manifestations: God the FATHER, God the SON, and God the SPIRIT; so the Holy Spirit is the third part of the One God Head.
 
 
2.  How Do You Receive The Spirit?
 
By being born again.
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.   John 3:5
 
By faith, not by works nor by law.
This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?   Galatians 3:2
 
By obeying God.
And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."  Acts 5:32
 
By repentance.
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Spirit.   Acts 2:38
 
By the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;5for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."   Acts 1:4-5
 
For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.  1 Cor. 12:12-13

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD, IS GOD HIMSELF  AND HE IS ALSO THE FATHER. THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN ONLY COME AND DUELS IN US AFTER ACCEPTING JESUS AS OUR LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR. NOTE: THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN NOT DUELS IN US WHEN WE ARE NOT DOERS OF THE WORD EVEN IF WE ARE BORN AGAIN. WE MUST LIVE IN OBEDIENCE AND LIVE UPRIGHT WITH GOD. THE HOLY SPIRIT DOETH THE SUPERNATURAL WORK THAT IS BEYOND OUR IMAGINATION. THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST IS JUST ONE CALLED (GOD) THE HOLY SPIRIT CARRY THE PRESENCE OF THE FATHER AND THE SON TO LIVE IN US. MORE TO TALK ABOUT NEXT TIME.

This is a great question in which many people struggle with. There are many attributes and surnames that depicts who God is. He is known as the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, Spirit of God, Spirit of Christ, Comforter, The Father and Jesus. The names are all synomonous. The Holy Spirit is also called the Comforter, which Jesus promised to those who would receive Him. The Comforter comes from a Greek word that means Parakletos, or in English terms "Helper".

It is very simple to recieve the Holy Ghost. All one has to do is repent of one's sins, turn from their sins, and believe that God will fill him or her with the Holy Ghost (Spirit). How does one know when he or she receives the Holy Ghost? Well, there is an experience which is both objective and subjective. It's objective because those who witness a person receiving the Holy Ghost will see that person speak in other tongues as the Sprit of God enables him to do so. It's also subjective because the transformation occurs within a person. Though the sign of speaking in tongues is audible, the person who receives the Holy Ghost will know beyond a shadow of doubt that something wonderful took place in his or her life. When in doubt, read about the promise and the fulfillment of the promise from the Father: Luke 24:46 - 53; Acts 1:1 - 8; Acts 2:1 - 4; Acts 10:44 - 48; Acts 19:1 - 6.

Now, there are many who will try to refute this argument and that's ok. But, God's Word demonstrates this experience. Better yet, don't take my word only.  Ask the Lord Jesus Christ and he will guide you into this truth.

The Holy Spirit is the FATHER and NO ONE ON EARTH today receive it. Jesus Christ is the Last MAN to receive the Holy Spirit. What we have inside of us is the Holy Ghost and the Power of God which we receive through obedience and sanctification 1 Peter 1:2. The Power of God is the Spirit of Truth which allow the Work to manifest inside of this World. John 14 & 16 KJV please to read. This is why the persons inside of the churches are Spiritually DEAD because they are living in Lies. The Holy Ghost is the Word and it is the Glorification of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 22:20-25 and John 17:5. 1 John 5:8 let us to know that the SPIRIT is what agrees here on Earth. It never says Holy Spirit nor Holy Ghost but it said the "Spirit". Ask yourself what is the Spirit? John 6:63 Jesus let us to know that it is the SPIRIT that quickeneth. He said the Word I give to you are Spirit and they are LIFE. There is are NO TRINITY and NO GOD HEAD. There are only one God and one God title. Isaiah 9:6 Mighty God which is a title and God Himself Isaiah 45:22. We are to baptized in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The Father is the Power, Son (is who overcome the world), Holy Ghost is the WORD of God where the Spirit lies. If persons don't receive the SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING of the Bible through the Spirit of Christ (Holy Ghost) then they will continue to walk by sight. There is only ONE GOD and one God title and a Spirit (Wisdom). No TRINITY is there if so then it would mean that the True God is lying. I know that the Father and Son has no unrighteousness inside of them. There is NO TRINITY.  I have a question to all who believe in the TRINITY. How many Parts the BIBLE divide into. Your answer will be what the Lord Jesus want you to know about Him and His father. By the way throw away the Translation Bibles the so called Religious Books and Tracks that are conform to this world. Grab a King James Version bible and go to the New Testament spend some time with Jesus Christ and let Him show you who He is. Lies are stopping persons from getting the Sanctification that is badly needed inside the Christianity Religion. Hugs and blessings

The only problem I see here about The Holy Trinity is...the use of language (semantics). This has been the dividing line between people of nations and religions...language, meaning and translation...

The Holy Trinity is an English word that is used to explain an action in this case. Trinity (Tri –unity…the unity of three) is derived from Latin Trinitas, meaning "the number three…
If you are familiar with you part of speech or Lexis and structure of English language…
…this is an abstract noun that is formed from the adjective trinus (three each, threefold, triple), as the word unitas is the abstract noun formed from unus (one).
As I said earlier…Trinity defines the action of three (Tri –unity…the unity of three)...who are three different entity working together as a whole... (do we need Pastor Chris or William Kumuyi to explain this...?)

Ok…I quote you below…
“…The Father is the Power, Son (is who overcome the world), Holy Ghost is the WORD of God where the Spirit lies…”

Simply…The Holy unity of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost…

The Unity of the Three from the baptism of Jesus:

Three mundane examples:  Roll Eyes Huh?

1.   The Legislature...The Executive and The Judiciary…these are three distinct body that forms A government.
The legislature makes the law, the executive enforces and the judiciary interprets the law. These works as a whole…even if they are different bodies...(the unity of three)

2.   The King, The Son and the law…
The king's word is law…
The son is the prince and as a Prince cannot be denied or disobeyed when sent by the father…
The law is the word from the King to his subjects…either through his son…messengers/servants or even councilors…

…Now…can you separate the King from the son and the law in this case…?

@Chik First of all you need to know who the HOLY GHOST is. The Holy Ghost is WISDOM and we have to BAPTIZED with it because it is where the POWER and TRUTH lies. Acts 7:51 let us to know that it is the Laws etc that was given on Mount Sinai. The Word of God is the Holy Ghost and without the SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING of it we will walk in Spiritual Darkness like the Jews. Now it is a Spirit Chik as how Jesus let us to know in John 6:63. The Holy Ghost that we are living under comprise of the FATHER and SON. John 14:13 While the Jews were only living under the Holy Spirit who is the Father.

Luke 3:21-22 That is the SPIRIT of the Holy Ghost descending on Jesus Christ. In Luke 4:16 let us to know that every Sabbath from a child Jesus is in the Temple reading the scrolls of His Father. This is the reason why the Spirit descend because His Body is full with BREAD. Acts 2:2-3 Again you see the Spirit of the Lord descending on those who were with Jesus Christ. They were full with BREAD and was able to start teaching the Word of God (Good News of Salvation). It is the same Spirit that John spoke about in 1John 5:8. It comprises of the Father and Son, one is the Word and the other is Power (Truth). John 14:16-17.

Now the bible is divided in two. The Father and the Son which is the Old Testament (walking by Sight) and the New Testament (Walking by Faith). It is the Spirit of Wisdom that makes them one. Holy Ghost - Spirit of Wisdom.

In closing I would encourage you to empty yourself of the worldly teaching of the Bible. Go to the Book of John and ask the Holy Ghost to teach you HIS UNDERSTANDING so that you don't come here with darkness over your eyes and telling the Servant of Christ the worldly interpretation of Him. Jesus was the best TEACHER here on Earth because He had His father's wisdom in Him. He is the Wisdom that is inside of me and it is His Spirit (Word of God) that leads my life.John 14:10-12 The Bible is TRUTH my dear but to see the TRUTH you have to read a King James Version Bible and you have to be total OBEDIENT.  THERE IS NO TRINITY.
