Ukpe Nsikan of Pedro street Lagos was arrested in Abuja by the men of Special Anti-Robbery Square (SARS).
He was charged with dishonestly receiving stolen property contrary to section 317 of the penal code law.
Police prosecutor, CSP, Boniface Asoguwa told the court that the handset was stolen on January 21 from one Adekoya Gbenga with his Honda accord car.
He said the accused could not give satisfactory account of himself when he was arrested by the men of SARS FCT command.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty, when the charge sheet was read to him at the trial.
Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N50, 000 with a reliable surety which must be residing within the court.
The case was adjourned till April 27 for hearing.
