The gun manufacturer, according to the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Charles Muka, was arrested yesterday at Abraka.
Muka confirmed to our reporter on phone that “we are already carrying out a thorough investigation into the incident. He was arrested in Abraka and in his factory, operation tools were found including chisels, hammers including eight gun butts. He is currently with us,” the PPRO said.
On Thursday last week, the PPRO said in a statement that “ahead of 2011 elections Delta State police command has recovered dangerous weapons along Ughelli /Patani Road and three suspects arrested.”
